We were guided on copywriting in this class after which were given a task to write a copy for the brand "Apple." At first, I chose Apple TV and its accessories and wrote a general typical copy for them which Ma'am did not like. But then I thought a lot and searched searched searched on its site and found apple watch series and wrote a copy on that by playing with the phrase. "A friend in need is a friend indeed."

Today we were asked to choose a brand yourself and write a copy! at first, I chose Toyota and wrote a copy based on how it is a family car! I was really happy with it but i could tell ma'am won't like it as it wasn't special it was plain. So ma'am didn't even have to say it that to think of new one, but she rejected it and asked me to think again. This got me to think out of the box like literally out of my comfort zone and limits and it hit me how taboos are being talked about and mixed it with normal life of my own and it clicked why not make a shan haldi ad in a completely new way and introduce it's haldi as an authentic haldi useful for periods pain so I DID IT!

Since Christmas is here, we got a Christmasy task to write a copy for an ad based on Christmas so I chose adobe and came up with a jingle to go for an attractive Christmas based advertisement!

BROCHURE!!

For the final project 360 degrees campaign, I had teamed up with Ayesha and we chose Cykiq as our client to conduct our campaign for. We conducted a training session and ran an advertisement campaign on social media to get people to learn how to cycle as Cykiq consists of a potential audience who do not know how to cycle but would cycle if they knew how to. For the campaign i created a form that was filled by the candidates. moving on I designed the 3 Print ads, Brochure for the session and a billboard. It was enjoying designing them as i was clear in my head of what i have to do and I spent my good time designing so I do a good job. Ayesha was really happy with my work and that made me feel better getting appreciated it assured me if I give my best, i can do it!

RED ALERT! The project got rejected and we were asked to do it all over again. Of course, this time we had to think harder about to make sure it's done right! Ayesha and I started to think and think and think so there is no space for a mistake! We decided to get out of the brand zone and its limitations and hammered our creative side! While focusing on hesitancy we chose to go desi with words and phrases. I came up with an idea of Sharam ko karo lock or sharam ko maro goli and made an ad about it  by giving sharam a look of monster, as samples but it wasn't creative enough so brainstorming took a start again!

REJECTED!!!

Finally a good idea. Ayesha came up with an idea for print ads from which we got more ideas for the campaign. Choro sharam Pakro Cykiq, Yahee tou umar hai. For which I designed the print ads and a panaflex and timeline for the campaign. We decided to place the letters and print ads in all the Concordia of NUST as most of the people visit them for their lunch break and relaxation.  While creating the print as I used all those lashes society gives to people if they are old or a girl and riding a bike example log kia kahenge, girogi haddi toot jaegi type. 

Ayesha was tensed whether it's too much for me to create since I always prefer to work with the camera and for previous print ads I used camera to photograph for billboard and print ads, here it was all graphics but I was clear of what to do and I was able to make exactly what she wanted. I was even happy to see the end result.

Dear Diary, This was my last entry because now I know I have to believe in my self and I will be able to do it, and I guess I did. I have learnt a lot and gained more confidence in myself and be consistent. Now there is no more giving up, but more to work hard for in order to achieve....
